At JRoyal Productions we specialize in wedding photography and cinematography. At the heart of our company is a deep passion for storytelling—real, raw, and timeless. As the founder and lead photographer, I’ve built this company with one mission in mind: to preserve the most meaningful moments of your wedding day with honesty, artistry, and intention. Every couple’s story is unique, and we approach each wedding with fresh eyes and a commitment to creating imagery that reflects who you truly are. I personally lead each project with a hands-on approach, from consultation to final delivery, ensuring every detail is handled with care. Our team of photographers and cinematographers share this same philosophy—creative, calm under pressure, and deeply attuned to the emotion of the moment. Together, we work seamlessly to craft visual narratives that are elegant, cinematic, and unforgettable. This isn’t just our work—it’s our life’s joy!
STORY TIME: How it started
Life has a mysterious way of surprising us with unexpected twists. It was 2019 and originally, I had set my sights set on finding a 9-5 job after leaving high school. After finally working with a few businesses, I realized that this wasn’t the road I wanted to walk, I wanted to have my own business. I tried my hands at graphic designing and soon after I began designing and printing T-shirts.
However, I still felt like something was missing. I wanted to roam, to travel and see places. I then thought of Photography, this would allow me to move around and see the world outside of my community. I’ve already developed a passion for photography and learned the basics, but how would I be able to afford a camera? I asked myself.
I didn't have much saved up so I then sought after help from my parents and grandparents.
After many discussions and much consideration, they decided to aid me on the journey that I was about to take into the world of Photography. My parents went so far as to purchasing me my first car so that I could travel to the various locations for my weddings. My grandparents assisted me with purchasing equipment for this grand adventure. I’m still truly grateful to them, because little did I know that this was a life changing decision.
After purchasing my first camera, I didn’t get my first booking until months after. But that didn’t shake my confidence, I knew that one day things would change. As time progressed, my skills as a photographer improved and a few cameras changed, I then began to get recognized. From there on, I began to land more and more weddings across Jamaica.
The MAN BEHIND THE LENS.
My journey as a photographer has been one of continuous growth and learning, and I am eager to share the knowledge with upcoming photographers or cinematographers and to guide them along.
Beyond my love for photography, my identity is woven into various roles. As a man of God, the Lord has brought me this far in life with all I have acquired, from my skills to the equipment he has provided for this business.
I am a devoted husband and father, cherishing the love and support of my wife and daughter on this incredible journey.
When I'm not immersed in the world of photography and filming, you can often find me engulfed in painting or designing art, around my car (I like cars :>) and spending time with my family. Just as I find inspiration in love stories, I am also deeply moved by all forms of art, from paintings to music, which continually fuel my creativity.
